In the end all of them have lost their deposit. Getting votes requires huge expenditure of money not just at the time of the elections but also to do work among the people over an extended period of time. The AAP succeeded in getting the resources and doing this in Delhi but the other AAP candidates have not been able to replicate this. The AAP success in Punjab is a special phenomenon arising from the severe mis-governance of both the Akali Dal and the Congress. In the end the AAP will have to get more resources and use them judiciously in some pockets to be able to make a mark.Rahul Banerjeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03878406459334361611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7000456447770564113.post-6930571043702268382014-05-19T10:34:46.145+05:302014-05-19T10:34:46.145+05:30Most of the AAP candidates in Mumbai who did not h...Most of the AAP candidates in Mumbai who did not have MNS contesting against them along with all other parties, have more votes in their kitty but most other AAP candidates who had to face MNS along with other parties got less votes. This seems to be one of the reasons why some AAP candidates in Mumbai got more votes than the others.<br />Nandini Oza.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7000456447770564113.post-62596561860178071142014-05-18T02:20:14.319+05:302014-05-18T02:20:14.319+05:30They call India is the largest democracy and the e...They call India is the largest democracy and the election Process funding is flawed. There is no accountability or bar on a political PARTY expenditure - but expenditure bar is only on individual who fights election. And on paper, these individuals from mainstream parties show just below the prescribed 60 lakh limit !! Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
